Want to spruce up your thank you notes???

http://forevercleveronline.com/postcard.html
As we all know, writing thank you notes is a MUST after you have been showered with tons of gifts during your engagment/wedding. Tired of writing the normal thank you note??? Try sending a postcard instead. The postage is less expensive and EVERYONE wants to see a picture from the wedding. You can design your own from tons of websites or print the pictures at a local pharmacy or order the adhesive postcards from amazon...

Why Be the Same?!

I really can appreciate a bride who's style is to not be so matchy-matchy! I think the older we get the more we realize our true tastes and style. It's so refreshing to see brides that allow and encourage their bridesmaids to show off their best assets by selecting their shape and style of the dresses while still staying in line with the color palatte that the bride has chosen. It makes for interesting photos and it's unique! Thanks to companies like JCrew, www.jcrew.comLula Kate, www.lulakate.com, Thread and many more br,www.threaddesign.comidal party designers, there are many options out there to choose from. Here are some we found below and we especially love the look of Molly Sims' wedding included below!

Loving Some Christine Hall Photography!

These are some adorable photos I found on Christine Hall's blog, www.christinehallphotography.com, and wanted to share with y'all! It's from our wedding at the Westin,www.westinsavannah.com, that we had last month. Claire and Stephen were such a sweet couple and I really appreciated that she trusted me with her vision of coral tones in an elegant yet casual ballroom and riverfront lawn. I can't wait to share the photos of the details and decor, and as always, it was a dream working with Amy of Harvey Designs, www.harveydesigns.com. Enjoy and hope your Monday is not too bad!

Bows for our Beaus!

Here in the South we LOVE some bow tie wearing guys! There is something so cute and classic about a bow tie and I love when they are colorful and personalized. Now, unfortunately, I do not think every guy can pull off a bow tie so if your beau can't do it, don't make 'em. We don't want them looking awkward and uncomfortable or even worse, like a clown! Here are some cute ones I am loving. Especially the ones on those sweet dogs-reminds me of my Lucy, even though she is a girl!

Brides and Boots!

One of my recent brides opted for her pair of worn out Hunter boots over her formal heels during her rainy day photo shoot and I loved it! It totally fit her personality. In fact, out of the 4 or 5 times I had been with her during the planning process, she almost always had the boots on so it was just so fitting and authentic of her! She worked with horses and was definitely an "outdoorsy" kind of girl. I also love the idea of brides throwing on their worn in pair of cowboy boots if they are snapping photos outside and if it matches the bride's laid back personality. Now anyone that knows me knows I want to gag at all of these un-natural and staged photos of brides sitting in a couch in a field, or a bride in a barn in some gorgeous gown, holding a chicken. I mean really? Why is their a couch in a field in the middle of no-where? Only if that bride lives on a farm, should she be holding a chicken. It just seems so corny and I know it's all over the wedding blogs and sites right now but I am so over it! I want realistic, personal touches that seem authentic and unique and not like a photo shoot. So back to the boots, I wish I could pull it off but my legs would look like tree trunks-so not cute! Here are some cute shots I found online should you be that girl that can pull this off and happen to be getting married in a field, outdoors, or God forbid, it's raining on your wedding! Enjoy!
